Shane has been leading development of products at the cutting edge of AI for almost 20 years, spanning mid/early stage startups (Powerset, Gliimpse, Lumiata, Zume) to large organizations (Microsoft, Shutterstock, Netflix). Most recently he led AI and Machine Learning for GSK, building the early target identification, phenotyping, and oligo platforms from the ground up. He is currently exploring applications of AI + Lab in the Loop to operationalize development of high fidelity oncology data assets toward industrialization of the drug development pipeline.

He holds a MS from Stanford in Computational and Mathematical Engineering.

Co-Founder and CTO

Nick is a former mathematician turned data and AI leader. In his most recent role, he built the Onyx organization at GSK, dedicated to accelerating medicine and vaccine discovery by building new data- and prediction-powered ways of working for GSK researchers. In less than three years, Nick grew Onyx from 23 people to nearly 200, and re-platformed all of GSK's early discovery data and computing into modern, cloud-based platforms.

He holds a PhD in Mathematics from The Ohio State University, focused in scaled probabilistic networks, and has over a decade of experience building data and AI/ML platforms across industries as diverse as healthcare, video games, and pharma R&D.
